The PaintballChannel.Com News Team has learned from several sources that the WPF is going to be "back on track" possibly sometime this week.
According to sources, Gerald Alvis, owner of WolfHill Paintball, PaintballCyberStore.com and a primary investor of MidSouthPaintball.com, has liquidated the WPF inventory and Jim Lively will still be working directly with Alvis to continue providing WPF style tournaments that players are accustomed to.
"Multiple details are being worked out as we speak.", stated Alvis. "Jim, Sam, several of my staff and I, will be meeting early next week. I will be making an announcement...confirming the 2002 season."
Bill Bryant, owner of the World Paintball Referee Corps (WPRC) states that the referee corp "will continue. I will have a new website up very soon and a series is in the works."
Addtionally, WPRC Scheduled classes are continuing, and are scheduled for the following dates:
Chicago Feb 9th
Houston Feb 23
Toronto Feb 28
Mountain Park TN March 9th
