I just got my nitro and revvy hopper not to long ago, and ever since i got em i have been breakin paint. i am not half strokin the trigger. but its really pissin me off. and when they break my gun jams up. do any of you have any ideas about why this is happenin?

thx for advice

Check that you paint matches the insert in your freak, that seems to be the commonest cause of breaking paint in the barrel you have a bad bore/paint match, (too tight). Either that or you're using crap paint.

Can't see any reason why changing power source and putting an ergo reg on would cause you to break paint if the set-up for your 'cocker is the same. You're saying the marker jams up when paint breaks, that sounds like the ball is bursting when it chambers, the shell is getting in between the bolt and the body and causing it to stick.

Check the paint quality, (it's breaking 'cause it's so brittle), and the paint/barrel match first and see if that doesn't solve the probelm

After changing all that stuff...make sure the pressure aint too high, check your gun over the chrono, what does it say?

Also, play a game with another barrel if you only have 1 freak insert.

Try different kinds of paint and make sure that it is a good batch and well cared for. Pay attention to the weather conditions when you play too. If it's getting hot and humid, switch to a larger bore. Clean your bolt and chamber too, as you might have some dirt or paint residue and shell bits that could be cutting into your balls. Your ball detent may be a culprit too.
