Been playing tournament for a year and never had much of a problem with break outs. But at Elsham I kept getting tagged as soon as the game starts.
I normally run fast and low and slide that last bit but on sunday I just stepped out and bye bye arm band.
Any advice on what to do, to get to that damn bunker.
or shall i just go to KFC for a week and turn into a back player :D
cheers
Kris

Sweetspotted

Chances r u been StSpotted. U just run in2 paintstream.
Try to vary ur way in. Maybe a 2 secs stop at a midway bunker b4 hitting your primary?!

As Joao Duro says, a stop off before your primary can be a good idea... Obviously the way you breakout depends on the field you are playing on. Sometimes the easiest or most obvious route to your bunker is not the best. Try to look at the firing lanes and different routes you can take when you're walking the fields. Bear in mind that stopping off very briefly is an option. A lot of the time, there's a couple of seconds when everyone is sorting themselves out in their bunkers where you can make a second move.. just get into the first bunker and wait 1/2 seconds while getting ready to move again and make your second move.

Head down, legs pumping, body low and fast thats just for the ladies... :D

nope just go...sweet spotting is becoming prominent but dont worry about it too much. I run fast and seldom fire off the break which some people say is wrong but each to there own heh? let your back playerz with the big gunz and fast fingerz put down the paint accross the channels but in reality who's heads are you gonna be keeping down off the break?

taking an indirect line to your primary does work but if the opposition sees you behind a stop off point you run the risk of being caught or trapped behind the point but again communicate with your boyz or galz behind you to put some down so you can bust a move - "boomshakalacka!" then you are where you know the game,in the thick of it and on your own so to speak...
hope it works...

Before the game, plan which route you are going to take on the break. Sometimes the most direct route is not the best.
Put as much cover between you and the other team, unless you are running accross their line of sight.
Walk your planned route and look for shooting lanes where the other team can sweetspot. When you approach these lanes on the run just glance up and see if there is a line of paint coming in and if there is you should have time to avoid it.
