Bravo TV "Mission Paintball"

Paper

Dublin Agression
Mission Paintball:

What on earth was that all about then????

Banzia Vs Bad Company!!!!, Well that was an even match then wasn’t it.

Bad camera work, A simpering Big Breakfast reject, Camo! (I thought we were trying to move away from all of that.) Wooden targets popping out of well used woodland, (the environmentalists are going to love that.) And to top it all Banzia rolling in the last game to Bad Company just to make them look better at the end of the show.

Yes I agree that we need to get our sport a much higher profile, and TV may well be the way to do it, but is this show really the best that we can do, you would have thought that with The president of the Millennium Series committee As “technical advisor” they could have come up with something a bit better than this, but then maybe the production company should have spoken to some other people who have the interests of paintball at heart.

take your head out of your arse!!!

Firstly, can you tell me if anyone has tried shooting a paintball game in real time and showing it on T.V.?

To my knowledge no-one. The series was not tried and tested and completely new both to the advisors and the production crew.

The camera shots on the first show weren't as good as they could have been because the camera men didn't have a clue what the hell they were supposed to be filming. THe paint, the guy shooting, the guy he is shooting at etc!!! The rest of the series should be much better once it was all sussed out.

As for the presenters, they were cool. How many presenters do you know who would put them selves in the games themselves and commentate!! They got shot to **** and deserve some respect.

As for the teams, they were drawn out of a hat just like any other sporting event. Banzai roll?? They are good guys and love the game. If they did it was for the good of the game and to create a good T.V show so that the general public could enjoy it.

Thats all i have to say for now apart from be positive, not negative. This program is a BIG step in the right direction!!

Bad Company!!!!!!!!!!

Bad Company didn't win the game on the speedball by Banzais supposedly rolling it as that is not true, BC won it due to us training and mainly playing on Sup' Air or concept/Speedball and Banzais mainly playing on Woodland and getting on with it more than Sup'Air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

paving the way!

Paper,

Imagine how hard it would be for Joe Public to understand a game of sup-air ball if they are watching it for the first time? Mission Paintball will eventually enable those who are interested enough to understand top level paintball as it currently stands, because it is starting at the grass roots and building to the finals that will be held on the Sunday of the Campaign Cup.

Everyone involved in the filming worked their arses off to make it the best that they could, so why don't you just applaud the work that others have done instead of sitting on your arse criticising all the time.

Well done to Niall, Jeff, Neil, Beard and everyone else who worked their butts off to actually get our sport some recognition.

I commend the people in the production of the making of Mission Paintball - not enough paintball is on tele!!

And, nice one Bravo for showing the second only ever paintball dedicated show I've seen

Oh my God....

...I don't beleive this! I think I may have to agree with Mr. Truter (ouch - that hurts). Try not to look at the show as a player, but as someone who had heard of paintball and wanted to see roughly what happens. I think the sport came out looking very good and this has a lot to do with all the teams taking it in the right spirit. To all those that played, you should be glad to have contributed as it went well and the final product looks good. Except Ledz of course, we now can't get that damn fence to stand up at all..........:)
