Braveheart Date Confirmed

Just to update you all on the BRAVEHEART situation I can confirm that it will be going ahead but the new and final date will be Sunday12th September. After speaking with a good few of you at Warriors it seemed sensible to avoid the holiday season and Lord of the Blings and Star Wars. Craig's been talking with Spike and we settled on this date. I really do hope this doesn't put any one out. Camping has been sorted and if any of you (that means you LittleTone) need any help at all regarding transport, accomodation etc then give me a shout and I'll try to make it as painless as possible for you. I can guarantee that there will be some very big explosions on the day so make sure you tape down those eyebrows. I'll see you all at Blings too so any problems just come up and get me.

I was aware of that but I figured there's a lot in the calender for tourny players and not much on the scenario scene. I'm in effect booking out my own site so there's really no good date for me. Sorry if any one is disappointed but it seemed the best date for avoiding other big games, hols etc.

Thing is, like myself, there are a lot of Tourney players who like theses events , but Campaign attachs most of the counties tournies players if not to play, to watch

I won't be able to please everyone - got to think about the majority - there's a lot more rec players than tourny players out there and these are the boys who I keep seeing turning up at the Big Games time after time. And without trying to be funny, I know that none of the players coming to BRAVEHEART from North of the Border would be going down to the Campaign Cup any way so at least I can guarantee a lot of Jocks.

The Campaign Cup runs from the 10th - 12th so you could all go on the 10th (the Friday) but I appreciate if you want to watch the best games you have to go on the Sunday for the finals and you might well be working on the Friday.

This particular Goose will be at Campaign on the Friday but not at Braveheart :( due to a previous commitment (my wife's 40th birthday)

Do you think she'll mind if I go to Scotland? ;) :D

Husband - "What do you want for your birthday?"

Wife - "A divorce!"

Husband - "I wasn't thinking of spending that much!"
