it has come to my attention that brass eagle never upgrads or changes ther markers for the next season..... is tehre a good reason for this or is it because they are just a starter brand?

BE makes what we like to call throw away guns. You buy one for 5 bucks at walmart, use it for a week or to till it breakes, then you through it away and buy a real marker.

Yeah and if they don't put you off for life then you get a decent marker

Actually it became a sport within a sport to customize Rainmakers to make them into serious shooting machines. I've seen a handful of them that not only shot well, but they were marvels of garage engineering. Commonly the LPR was replaced with an ANS Jackhammer and so forth, essentially making it a hybrid between a F5 and a RM. If I find one for cheap enough I might just do one myself eventually.

Didn't B E buy JT some time ago? if so B E have a hand in the JT Excellerator and from what I hear (not tried one myself so no quotes please) they are not bad

i dont think BE brought JT but BE JT and VL have a little bonding corperation thing they all look out for each other and make stuf for each other

brass eagle does suck... some of there guns are made only to fit on their barrels, which suck. they have marketing defects and ..... suck

Im guessing you think they "suck"...but, thats why you can buy them for 25 dollars and they only shoot 10 ft...
