why dont they recall there crappy shells because alot of people are getting really mad because they have to spend 25 dollars to replace the broken shell and that shell is just as bad and it will brake again in a matter of weeks. does anyone else have anything to say about this?

You must have the old type then, there are 3 types of shell without getting scientific (plus I can't remember the exact description) the new ones have the X board logo written in the shell and they are brittle as anything, I got one at Campaign used it in one game after and the feed neck cracked, it was swapped out at the World Cup but for the older type and all the differing types was explained to me plus apparently a another new type is to be introduced but it will be like the middle of the three currently about 'cos VL (Brass Eagle) realised that the latest plastic combination was rubbish.

Shouldn't be a problem with the new shells, they're supposed to be a lot tougher.
Aren't the new ones polycarbonate?

Paul.
:)
Yes they are but the type of polycarbonate they have used they have realised is **** (thats what I meant by the science bit in the previous post), the Techie guy was explaining it to me at the Cup and to be honest it lost me but the result is new shells **** (and they know it) new but really old polycarbonate mixture good but not released yet

Ahaaaa

:)

Yes I can confirm that the current and the revvys that have been sent out in the past 6 or so months are cr@p. A team m8 of mine is now on his third one, due to the feed necks breaking. Bearing in mind that Planet know about the problem it is costing him 5 quid each time to send it back and get a replacement.
It seems that it doesn't even take much to break one. he only used the last one once and cracks had started to form around the feed. He has just recieved his latest one and it seems to be from the same batch as the last two. If planet know that they are having problems why are they still sending out the same ones???
Tell ya what I'm really glad that I have one of the old types.
