theyre coming from a supplier in bulk - well i say in bulk, if you order them through the supplier, he'll ship to me, and i can send them to you, saving money on postage etc. i know the supplier personally, and he's an awesome guy, so he's helping keep costs. down.

If you're buying in bulk, surely the prices are going to be less than £80, unless you're marking your prices up a ridiculous %. De ja vu?

Selling gear on forums is not about making a profit, just put the price up enough to cover your costs (as most people do) and leave it at that. I understand you're wanting to make money but this really isn't the way to go about it. There are guys on here that will get things away without a second though because it's helping a fellow 'baller out with a small item they need, all credit to these guys (you know who you are) as it's these people that make this such a great place to come, the community spirit is amazing. But I'm afraid you're going about this in the wrong way, to the detriment of your reputation. You tried setting up 3rd party trading verification despite my warings about there not being a market for it, that went down the khazi because you were a) charging and b) didn't know enough about specific markers. Now you've moved on to a sort of 'wheeling and dealing' of goods that are available for the same price here, now I'm totally convinced that it doesn't cost £50 to import a set of Proflexes when you've bypassed taxes and VAT on the goods as you say you can, it's these %'s alone that put people off ordering from teh States, without them it would be MUCH cheaper than U.K. retail stores, certainly not the same/more than them.

I think the best way to dispell any isses people have with your service would be to put people in direct contact with your 'supplier' (I'm assuming it's someone on PbN where incidentally you're quite the little spam monkey (quite a lot of QFT' 'What he said ^' posts going up)) so any potential customers can 'cut out the middle man' as it were and contact him/them directly

I apologise to the mods if you feel this is out of line, if so delete it and I'll quite happily take whatever 'slap on the wrist', I've toed the line thus far about 'flaming' but I can't hold my tongue any longer.

bearing in mind that import, shipping and customs are going to cost a fair ammount i'd say that £80 quid recorded special delivery was pretty good.
as for taking pics of the item - they're still factory sealed, so theyre NIB.
plus - when did i say that i can import vat and tax on items - the only reason theyre cheaper (look at items such as £10 for many JT Straps, £30 playing tops, £50 pants) is that i have to cover tax, insurance, import duties, vat, and shipping - so i'm not making anything. the money goes to the supplier, he ships them to me, as well as about £5 an item to cover postage to you, all i get is items without shipping costs - so i'm not doing it to bring down comunity spirit as Tw!sted is making out - i'm not the forum's anti-christ, and i'm not going to put my prices up to rediculous ammounts of profit - i don't make any profit - if i wanted to make profit, i'd go out, and find a job - not look for cheap events on the net. as for that essay tw!sted, i adivse you do the same thing, you've got far too much time on your hands.
