How intelligent is the average paintballer?

See you lot can answer this little question?

Shown here are 4 men buried up to their necks in the ground.

They can’t move, so they can only look forward.

Between A & B is a brick wall which can’t be seen through. They know that between them are 4 hats, 2 X black and 2 X white, but they do not know which colour they are wearing.

In order to avoid being shot, one of them must call out to the executioner the colour of their hat. If they get it wrong, everyone will be shot.

They are not allowed to talk to each other and have 10 minutes to fathom it out.

After 1 minute:

Q: Which one of them calls out?

Q: Why is he 100% certain of the colour of his hat?

This is not a trick question!

The answer can be obtained by deductive reasoning. There are no outside influences nor other ways of communicating. They can’t move and are buried in a straight line. So A & B can only see their respective sides of the brick wall, C can see B and D can see B & C.

C calls out.

I can post why if you'd like, but I think everyone else should get a chance to work out why.

C shouts out that he is wearing a black hat.

C knows that B is wearing a white hat, as he can see this. If C was wearing a white hat, D would shout out that he (D) was wearing a black hat. Since D stays silent, C knows that B and C have different colour hats.

there is a man, and two women he convinces to have a threesome. nice.

he takes them to a hotel and asks for the price of a room, the receptionist says £30

being a true gentleman the man convinces his two companions to split the bill £10 each. nice.

in the morning they all come downstairs to check out, and the receptionist says there was a mistake with the bill and the room was only £25.

in order to split the £5 change evenly, the man suggests they all take £1 each and leave the remainin £2 as a tip.

if they all paid £10 and got £1 back, they all paid £9.

£9x3 =£27 + £2 tip = £29. Wheres the missing pound?

Funny story but not that hard(?)

They pay 27 in total (as they got !back! 3coins) and 27-the tip á 2 coints is 25...voila!
