braided macroline

anyone suggest how easy it would be to convert my plastic macroline to a steel-braided one? i'm guessing that i'd need to replace the pushfit connectors for threaded ones? and if this can be doen, where do i get the bits.....?
perhaps this is a question for mr. allen?

you remove the push fits and the hose screws into the holes the fittings came out of.
