Bps apps?

after missing out on a bargain chrono with bps in the classifieds and needing to set an eblade with no ramp setting I stumbled upon an app that uses the phones microphone to work out the bps. Only costs £1.50 but if it's junk I won't bother, also concerned the cocker noise will give false readings. However if it does work could be a bargain!


So has anyone used one of these bps apps?

It's a bit old school - you don't need the app

Record the sound, zoom in and look at the soundwave

Which would work, but to tune the eblade sadly I'll need to do multiple adjustments whilst shooting to achieve a 10.5 cap.

I blinking wish eclipse still supported the eblade

App=rubbish, I'm sure I read some terrible things about it years ago saying it didn't give anywhere near correct.

That's what I thought given I've not heard anyone even mention them before
