gas thru's were a ton cheaper and i belive they are basically the same thing b/c they are just a grip with a hole drilled up the center. please correct me if im wrong, or if i made the right decision.

p.s. it was a 32 degrees gas thru foregrip.

Sorry, not the same thing if by x-chamber you mean expansion chamber. Expansion chambers offer extra volume between CO2 bottle or tank and your marker helping keep liquid out of your marker. A gas thru is just a grip essentially.

really confused

a expansion chamber lets the liquid expand into gas by going through a number of chambers, therefore being called a expansion chamber. A gas thru grip is just one giant chamber that the co2 can travel through instead of several chambers. thats where im confused. if co2 can travel through 6 chambers and expand why can't it do the same through one big chamber?
just let me know if this is the stupidest question you have ever heard.

Another aspect is that the x-chamber has a much less of a chance of letting liquide through. Since it has to go through 6 chambers, there is more likelyhood that the liquid will stop before reaching the top.

With a gas-through grip the liquid has a clear patch to go all the way to the top.
