bottom line/expantion chamber spacer?

ok i just got an expanton chamber of of a spider special eddition, its green with black swirrel/splatter anno, and it has a streight metal tube instead of the usual steelbraided hose, but the tube is too short and the chamber is too long, so now my asa is about 1/2 inch too low and 3/4 inch toofar forward

i was thinkin about bending a small sheet of metal and drilling holes in that, so i would have a really small drop


would that work?

what would yall do?

If you can unthread the tube, remove it and use stainless braided hose. If you want to be all stealthy and hide the metal, wrap it in electrical tape so it is all black. Remember that your drop needs to support the tank, and if the torque you put on it is great enough, you could break it. That rigid tube always seemd like a bad idea to me...

ill probly need macroline then, becayse its a push fitting, and the threads wernt the exact same as the asa so i have half a roll of teflon tape sealing the thing together
