will my gas bottle be damaged in any way if i leave air in it for 2 weeks? (approx 3000psi)

Nah, it'll be fine mate, I had a steel tank that had 2000psi in it for 3 years, it was only when I got it retested they emptied it and it passed with no problems.

The things are built for that job, holding high presure in there for years proberly not the best idea but it wont hurt it

it'll be fine the only problem is it will lose a tiny bit of pressure over time, either that or the guage isnt reading it properly.

If you have a slight leak! If you leave them pressurised it is better for the reg as it keeps every thing in place, I believe that you ar supposed to keep air in dive tanks (i.e. pressurised) while stored.

ye it will be fine i had air in 3000 psi tank for 4 months
and was fine when i came to use it

if it leeks your tank is faulty

you should if passable leave air in the tank, it helps Stop corrosion
