If i bought a 1.1 fibre bottle with preset How hard would it be to take the preset off and put a Max-flow on it???

Would it be easier to look for a fibre bottle with max-flow on it in the forum??

Have seen people seeling just the tank on the classified section. Mate of mine bought a 1.1 and could screw the reg right off.

If your looking at buying new probly best to ring the company, just are doing a 1.1 fibre wraped pmi tank for 99 of the finest british pounds at the mo.

A lot of presets are loctited on, saying that it's not the end of the world.
If you immerse the reg in really hot water (stick duck tape on the gauge face to cover the vent hole), it will soften the loctite and you will be able to remove the reg.
It will be tough, but it will come off.

just make sure when un-screwing the reg from the bottle there is no air inside. i knows its pretty obvious but there is always someone that forgets!
