Hey, does anyone know when air bottles should be tested and when it was last tested? Is it the date that goes around the bottle, is it on the valve?

Fibre wrapped every 3 years
Ally bottles every 5 years
Dive Tanks (land use only) every 5 years but...a lot of dive shops insist on the bottle being tested every 3 years as if they are used underwater (due to insurance limitations).

I've recently had my cylinder checked and it was done through them, cost around £25 but they only send them out when they've got enough to make it worth their while.
If you're lucky it'll take a couple of weeks
