Hello :).

I am trying to convince my local dive shop to invest in the gauges to test paintball air bottles (they already do dive tanks of course). They are based in Oldham (nr. Manchester).

The owner of the shop has asked me if he thinks there will be any interest if they decide to go ahead.

This is where you lot come in (especially Northern field owners). Would you be interested in using them to test your bottles? I know H-Pac do a great job - but it is a pain with postage etc. This could be an alternative.

What do you guys think?

hmm...my two cents....leave it to hpac....they no what there doing...then your not responsible for a potential loss of investment based on your request...!

Tom - I thought that being able to test Dive Tanks means they can test smaller versions (ie. our bottles). Am I wrong?

Tommy - I'm not trying to take stuff away from T and T (H-Pac) - just wondering if an 'alternative' was a viable option (I'm still waiting to hear how much the gauges are). Thanks for your input.

The regulations changed a while back, not to the degree that some felt it did, but it meant that dive shops needed further accreditation to test these bottles. Quite a few dive shops went for it but not all, so it's best to check.
