Bottle reg consistency?

Anyone got any experience with running a marker straight from a bottle reg? I'm making a project marker up and may be using the lpr as a grip and run the main pressure straight from a minimaxflo with a macroline fitting on the marker body, will probably adjust the shims inside to get the pressure i want, just worried about what kind of consistency i will get, I figure it will give far better consistency but am not sure. Also anyone know of any decent adjustable bottle regs?

Maxflo's are pretty good. You could try to get the secondary reg and the lpr in the front grip.

Some of the early 03 shockers never had a vertical reg just a inline low pressure maxflow like this

What now is the vertical reg on the 03 shockers was just a gas though grip.

Yeh i did think about an old maxflo but they weigh rather alot, was hoping to find a direct mount like a maxflo thats adjustable, but dont know of any

Ran an Angel LCD and IR3 with no secondary reg with an Angel AIR, absolutley outstanding results thanks to Fraz for the tip though
