Bottle Newbie Question

Ghostrocket

Its all about your Ego
Dont shoot me down but i have want may seem a daft question, recently got into the sport and got my new set up. I am after a bottle cover i have a pure energy 3000 psi 48cu bottle which i am told is also known as 0.7l

However when i look about i have seen 0.8l and 45cu or 45ci etc, could someone take there time and explain what i would need to look for and explain the expressions. Again sorry if this has been covered i couldnt see it.

thanks from a newbie

the common sizes will refer to the lighter, smaller fibre-wrapped bottles...the aluminium pure energy tanks are slightly different (i had an aluminium 1.1l that was 72cu rather than 68cu)...i can't really say whether a 45cu bottle cover would fit as i've never used one but hopefully someone will know or have one and be able to comment on how much slack there is left...

i got a dye 68 ci bottle cover for my 72 ci bottle and it fitted still had a bit of room to move infact. so i would presume a 45 will fit a 48
