Bottle filling

Hi, my question is simply is it legal for someone under the age of 18 to fill a HPA tank? if not then what age is it? i'm wondering as i got told yesterday that it was, and whilst i'm inclined to believe the guy who told me i would just like this verified please?

Not certain on specific wording in law, site insurance and fill policies will also apply.

An 18 year old is deemed responsible for their own actions.

If the site / event goes to UKSPC or similar standards then self filling will be restricted to air pass holders only, and will provide the option of free air pass training. This requires the trainee to sign a declaration including that they are 18+

Sites may require fills to be by staff only, and some of those to be site cylinders only.
Use of your own cylinder may be by self fill only.
