Just caught a very very brief shot of someone shooting a marker on bbc1, in a trailer for their "Born to Win" series. They had a big archery target, a paintball splat and then a shot of someone in a mask shooting what looked like a BE Raptor or similar. Should be worth keeping an eye on.

Edit: Found this on the BBC site. And there is also a game to play :)

I seem to recall that a paintball player from this forum was going up for this , then dropped out at the first sign of a "bleep test".
This event would have been just their cup of tea.

Also on Bravo on the program Travel Sick, he was shooting Whales with a paintball marker. Although he stated that the Whales had a hard skin and didn't feel anything he was still shooting without goggles on a boat in iceland. He had the marker bunged around civilians though, and went well away and out of visual or shooting sight of anybody so thats an up.

Only safety measure an barrel bung though :(

Did anyone catch this, then? I just realised it was on yesterday afternoon, so it's too late to set the video! I'll keep my eyes peeled for repeats, though.

I managed to catch the show, just at the point when the paintorientated bit came on. It was based around keeping composure whilst being knackered. It was a race on a loop, the contestants had to shoot the marker at the target, then take off their goggles and swim out to a marker in the water. Swim back to the floating platform, and shoot at the target again.

You can imigine after a minute or two, you will be pretty knackered, and your concentration/composure will go down the pan!

I was impressed with the fact that the contestants had to put the goggles on to fire, then take them off again for the swimming bit. Its amazing how some programmes miss this important safety point out.

The markers were Infernos on CO2.
