hi i am using the stock back and barrel that came with my proto reflex and i am looking at getting a boom stick is this any better than what i have and what are the advantages of using a boomstick.

It's a lot lighter being carbon fibre, but is expensive, you can get cheaper barrels that in some people views are better!

That's a bargain if it's the price it is "Buy it Now" (if not, it will go for more!)

Nothing all that wrong with a stock barrel these days, and you will see minimal difference in performance. Spend the cash on a training day!

boomstick will make no difference to accuracy, efficiency etc better off buying a freak kit so youve got a better paint to bore choice.

Although the above posts are true to a point they are not technically correct, a boomstick may be more efficient & accurate if by luck you buy the right back for the paintballs you are using.

A boomstick is two sections

Back - size printed on it

Front - length is preference to where on the field you like to play normally

If correctly sized it will improve accuracy but do not be fooled its not going to become a ball on ball sniper rifle, there are many variants that affect velocity, check out the thread "a gun that shoots more accurately" to see them.
