Well I talked with Jason Watson who is one of Bob's techs and personal friends (Also owns Techna Trigger) and this is what he told me.
In response to my question about anything coming out from Hybrid and Bob, this is what he had to say.Jason said:Ok, here is the way it is.........Or was when I left Bob's today at 11:00am. After a little bit of drama in Tampa, Infamous and Bob have parted ways. Since the Oakland Assassins franchise is actually owned by NPS, Infamous will take on additional players and take over the NXL spot. We (all the former original Oakland Assassins) will join and play as Legacy. This means that we will again see LJ, Danny Miller, and Sean Adams (and of course other Legacy players) playing along side old school former Assassins Zach Long, Ron Nelson, Arnold Francisco, and Mark Nelson. Look for Chris Dazi, Tyler Harmon and as many of our crew as rules and space allow, will make the move too. Also, it looks like we will now have a good chance of keeping Josh Davey since he is such good friends with Danny. As far as guns go, from what I can tell or guys will certainly shoot Intimidators as will LJ, and Danny for sure. It sounds like the rest of the Legacy guys will be able to shoot what ever they want, with a strong push towards Hybrid's Traitor Shocker I am sure. We will be wearing Hybrid gear and Legacy Jerseys.
It is important to understand that the rift between Infamous and the original Oakland Assassins was over a problem with only too of our guys. Because Bob is so loyal, he would not cut them and the relationship could not continue as a result. I absolutely KNOW that I speak for Bob when I say that he has nothing but respect for the Infamous guys, and Brian Fow and Travis Lemanski in particular. Believe me, you can not help but love those guys once you have met them.
As much as I hate the idea that we are no longer the Oakland Assassins, I am kind of excited over the prospect of seeing the old wrecking crew back together again. Anybody wanna bet that Legacy starts winning matches on a regular basis?
This should help clarify things a little more.Jason said:There will be a Hybrid gun for sure. Details are being worked out now and there was even some talk about it this weekend. There is some very, very cool stuff coming from from Bob pretty soon.
