Ive just got myself a lovely g6r, and of course, a low pressure reg namely a crossfire low pressure reg which I believe output 450psi.
The gun shoots great, but I come across a hell of alot of folks talking about having a ninja slp reg which outputs 300 (hope I'm correct)
If I bought one would I see any advantage? Softer shot? Improved o ring reliability? Or does it just make you AGG? :)

slightly better efficiency as you'll be able to dive in to the depths of the tank when air gets low ;)

plus less stress on the internal gaskets and orings ;)

Yeah that makes sense, yeah I worry about blowing an oring, particularly the asa ones, and surely putting 150 less psi through it would help?

The g6r? Not for sale :)
The crossfire reg, for sale :)

ye thats the other major one is the asa oring will shred on the 2011's if its running to high a pressure off the bottle reg ;)

Bob longs are good up to 550 psi, I very much doubt you will see much difference. I watched a video yesterday on the insight with hustle paintball and they used a ninja reg on 550psi and s ninja slp and they actually got more shots from the 550 than the slp. I run mine at 450 with the adjustable ninja ultra lite.

I also have a few Bob Long guns and try as I have, I`ve NOT seen any difference between the SLP and another reg with a low pressure,
I`m running my G6R at the moment on a 450 psi and I can`t fault them.
In fact I`m running All my guns :- EGO Lv1, Dye,Proto,
and in particular the Axe as these run better on Low feed Psi
I never Dry fire any of the guns now without a Fluffy
and NOT Ever with the Lv1`s without paint

Hm, that gives me something to ponder then, may just get the best ninja adjustable one and remove the shims.
Btw anyone got a trigger spring they could sell me? I haven't had the grips off to see but I think the triggers only being returned by the microswitch and that ain't how I roll
