Looking around for a new marker for the kit bag and the BL Rapper has caught my eye. Interested in hearing the views of people who have owned them. Is the 4c up grade worthwhile? Is a board upgrade a smart move? Is maintenance easy and are they reliable? What are the problems people have had with them?
Cheers
Rich :)

Tinkering ain’t easy
Excellent guns, maintenance is a breeze but invest in a pressure gauge or make friends with Lump :)

4C is a nice touch and pretty much guarentees eyes will always be on.

The Tadao Ryujin board is very nice and not necessary to change if it has 09 mill settings.

Great guns all round

I don't agree with the need for loads of o rings check out the tech pb reviews they are very reliable and rarely need any maintenance...
I have a closer and a edge...

I thought LIPs were going to start providing BL tech support when they started distributing the Victory? Have always avoided Shockers because of the O ring maintenance; till this year when I picked one up as a project and still can't get the b****y thing going.

Currently running an 08 Ego, several old Angels and mech Cockers. Like the fact that they work out of the kit bag with minimum maintenace. Don't want to pick a high maintenance marker, so John C's comments are noted although it is not clear he has actually owned one.

Thanks for the help and keep the comments coming.

Cheers

There is no help or assistance on this side of the pond for Bob long markers.

They are built like Russian tractors (not in a good way) so they do need quite a bit of looking after.

Invest in lots of Orings ;)
Rubbish changed one oring in my Rapper in two years

I haven't shot the rapper but have two alias and no oring problems at all. Intimidator Owners groups has a guy who will ship smallparts like eyes/screws/orings etc cheap as chips, so maintainence is no issue.
Plus, you'l be one of the select few not shooting a SP, PE or DYE marker at games, which is always nice.
