Hi Guys, looking for some help as I'm am soon to be purchasing another marker and after trawling through the web for freaking hours have come up with a short list on which is the Bob Long G6R however after discussing it with a mate he's told me that there a lot of effort? Apparently I will need to buy various components to help regulate and monitor air pressure! So to get down to the point of the post can anyone tell me if that's actually the case and if so what extras do I need to buy to get the marker set up and running sweet?

Thank you in anticipation

Just a air tester mate. Once pressure are set that's it. Just when u take it apart to clean it u might wanna re test it. But wicked marker shoots well and very consitance.

Nope not necessary. You will only need them if you want to mess around with it and fine tune the settings. If you just want to shoot and play they will be fine until you change something

Ok cool thanks for the response mate, what does the air tester do exactly and how easy is it to use also where can you pick them up? Would the marker actually operate correctly out the box? Sorry about all the questions just want to be sure.

Thanks Ash

Okay so when I clean it would I need to re-test it or can I just clean it reassemble it and be happy in the knowledge that when I next play I just need to take it out the box and start shooting? Thank you for the post.

And if you need a tester its just a matter of pulling out the ram and inserting the tester. Simple job, as with any marker read the manual and learn how it works and it will never let you down.

The tester on a G6R is dead simple to use! I checked mine when it arrived and have never had to alter them since, even tho I have checked them on occasion just to make sure that they are indeed still the same.
All the tester does is let you see lpr & hpr pressure so you can sweet spot them. It just gets rid of any guessing.
We are a Bob Long team so I could go on and on about them but others would jump in and shoot me down so I'll just say 'Buy it you won't be disappointed' if you get a problem contact one of us and we will sort it or get it sorted for you...

Brilliant thanks a lot mate I'll bear that in mind, I think I'm going to go for one they just seem to be really good and I'm struggling to find any reasons not to get one. Thanks again mate.
