Board only for Reloader B or way to fix it?

When giving my beloved Reloader B a clean yesterday I have accidentally broke the on/off button off :(

Now, I have tried supergluing it back on but it just keeps sheering straight off again when I try and put it all back together again. So two questions...

1. Anyone know of a glue or similar that will work for this purpose?

2. If not, and it is easier to just get a board replacement, anyone know where I can get just the board?

Rest of the loader is mint and fully working but without an on/off switch I'm a bit knackered ;)

Reloader B boards tend to go for about £35, try posting in classifieds, failing that try planet, I'm sure at 1 time they sold just the reloader B boards.

Fatbobs do them for about £40 Ben :)

Failing that see if Tom Allen can fix it, he seems pretty clued when it comes to electronic gadgetery...

Thanks chaps, I thought they might be expensive :( Think I'll probably just get a new Halo, probably more cost effective... Just damn annoying when it's just a little button that has broken...

I'm sure I've seen someone on here with an external switch for either a HALO or a Reloader.

You can just run a wire, somehow, and mount the swith on the outside.

Don't know how to do it though, just remember seeing it.

Try running a search for 'switch' in the classified section. It was only in about the last week I think I saw it.

Can you stick a normal halo board in it, is there holes for the eyes? could make a good back up halo!

is it just the long piece of the on/off which is busted off? or the actually electronic piece which is soldered on?

if the long button is just busted, there will be a way to ghetto rig something surely.

1. Get hold of old on off cover
2. make hole in said cover, if it's an old one the on off buttion may have pushed through the cover my now anyway.
3. start of day use a small allen key to turn the Halo on.
4. end of day use said allen key to turn Halo off.

Sorted!
