Long shot, but has anybody used the above strap wrench before to remove feed necks? Any reviews?.

Thinking of buying one to change the feed neck on my shocker as im not risking using anything else other than a strap wrench to avoid damaging it!.

Yep, I have. Works great but stick a hopper in the neck while doing it to avoid warping/crushing the feedneck. Make sure the body is clamped well, preferably cloth wrapped in a vice.

Or, there was a thread on here the other day on how to remove a axe feedneck and there was a you tube link and they used a 19mm socket with tape wrapped on it and they removed that way.

a bit of warmth goes a long way too, gentle blow torch or strip gun and put in oven for a while
