Do any of the petrolheads have any experience with this?

1. Does it really do what it says on the tin?

2. Anyone had any warranty problems with the manufacturer (Bluefin allows you too flash back to the original settings)?

Whilst wanting to live out my "Layercake" Audi RS6 fantasies, banker bonus's are not what they used to be. Basicly I need more shove out of the babychariot (e92 320 diesel touring), OK so the above won't give me Saturn IV rivalling performance, but I need more poke. Thoughts?

Diesels seem to get more from chipping than petrols. Probably because they're set up for economy. I'd get it done.

Theres a number of remaps available depending on the motor.
No experience personally, but Id consider getting my Octy vRS done when its out of manufacturers warranty.

Already a decent motor but could always be faster :):)

Had it on a few diesels. And it has been good but it normally adds virtually nothing to resale.

Sometimes it adds a bit to very high power diesels. Like one of the ones I am considering at the moment a 335d :)

Yea I know a guy who bought one worked a treat... Im sure he said he had it put on a rolling road before and after and there was like 30 bhp difference. And that was on a 2.0 55 reg turbo diesel Golf....

Yes get it remapped, well worth it. I use this chap based in Wolverhampton. www.p-torque.co.uk

Diesels respond very well to remaps with upped bhp and torque(pulling power) which you notice more in diesels.

I have my A3 2.0tdi remapped and it goes like a rocket.

As far as warranty concerns go well it depends on the garage. I work in an Audi main dealer and I know we usually turn a blind eye to remaps as long as they are sensibly done and not pushing too much power to make the clutch slip.

I have had 3 of my cars mapped now with no issues at all.
