Blackheart board problem (Ion)

Okay heres the problem.
The blackheart board cuts out randomly after its been turned on. It cuts out at random times and most of the time it cuts out after a few pulls of the trigger. Iv replaced the battery connection but that has had no effect.
The battery is virtually brand new and the board shows no signs of low battery (where it would make its low battery sound).

Any soultions? (except buying a better marker... thats obvious enough)

Try a fully fresh battery and check all connections

battery is fine, tried two batteries. It just cuts out with no warning and no sound.

Have you tried the board out of teh gun, sometimes it can help (don't know why, sometimes does)

nope, no joy. same result.

does it stay on fine if you don't fire?

what are the power connections like on the board, is the battery cable unpinched
