black magic reg

im going 2 low pressure mod my timmy, iv got the duel regs n every thing, i was just wondering if a black magic reg works well or even works at all when its passing about 100 psi through it ???

i wouldnt reccomd using a black magic reg below 250 psi output .......

You should weigh up all the pros and cons of low pressuring your timmy.

Cons:
Regs need upgrading
You will need to run at a higher dwell
Less efficiency
Anything that increases friction in the system will have a much greater effect on the performance of the gun.
Reduced recharge time between shots, causes drop off during rapid fire.
Increased cycle time per shot.
You are changing the pressure from what the internals were designed for.

Pros:
You can tell your mates your gun is working at a lower pressure than theirs.


I suppose its personal preference whether you think the Pros outweigh the cons. But I wouldnt bother...

try 68 psi - which is what an 04 viking will run at after shes broken in

na ur not cing the point, the lpr still works at the same pressure the only diferance is the hp reg is striped out and works like a volumizer ,
pro's
lower bolt pressure, can use brittler paint
more shots per fill

all good, propperly set up it is still consisant and there are no signs of drop of ,
plus if u read the clasic timmy manual(duels came as standard)
they tell you how to do the mod so it internals are desingned to work like this also
