Bit of a noob Impy question

Ok guys, the little green light on the back of my impulse vision is flashing. It doesnt seem to be directly affecting the gun though other than maybe skipping a few shots. I cant check the speed as i am at home and dont have a crono. yes i have changed the battery 4 times. Although it doesnt seem to be changing anything perfomance related it is there and it is blinking.
Any ideas what it could be?

The led flashes green when a fire signal has been sent and orange if the eye is on and there is no paint to fire(no fire signal)
