Hi
7 weeks on and those images of sept 11th still stick in my mind.I've wanted to do something but wasn't sure what and to what charity to send any donations too. One of my hobbies besides P8ntball is Comics, and last week the mighty comic giant Marvel released a charity comic to raise funds for the Sept 11th appeal. Its about 64 pages and is on a larger(magazine size)format than usual. Its basically a collection of artwork by the top comic artists of our time inspired by those tragic events. Here(UK) it seels for about £3.And ALL proceeds go to charity.Equally split between:-
Widows and Childrens fund for the NYPD
Widows and Childrens fund for the NY Fire Dept.
and the good 'ol Red Cross
I know it may not be your kinda thing. But a few of my friends and family have brought a copy and they probually haven't read a comic for years. at least if you want to contribute to the charity its a nice way of doing so.with a collectable reminder to keep.
to see a sample of the artwork click on the link below and hopefully it'll work.

and ask for Rich or Derek
As i said ALL proceeds go to these charities.the distributors and shippers are not charging anything.
Its a good book to have and some of the artwork is very impressive.
