Here's my biggest hint ever to anyone! After a nasty experience on the weekend whilst marshalling...
If the burst disc goes on a CO2 bottle don't pick it up. After unscrewing one of our CO2 bottles off a T98 after thinkign the o-ring had just gone I put the bottle down to find that my leather fingerless gloves were frozen solid and then worst of all found my hand too was frozen solid - NOT nice funny red marks on my hand now like red wine stains!
Twell you what though it's brilliant when gas starts venting - you've never seen a grown man run so fast and he was literally squealin' like a pig he thought it was bout to blow up I think!
It's great being a marshall isn't it you get such funny stuff go on!
