Big Problem

i bought a psycho ballistics silver bullet this week and the first time i screwed in the co2 the plastic casing of the regulator poped off about 10 feet into the air. since then i have tightened the reg and put the casing back on and the co2 screws in without the reg poping again. But i dont think that the reg is working can enyone give me some help plzzzzzzzzzzzzz

are we talking about the reg where you screw in the C02 or the front reg; the forgrip?

was it new? did you follow all the instructions (it may say you need to cock it or do something before you gas it up) ...send it back?
