the theory is that witha large bore you dont have to bother checking all the paint, you will either have paint flying a bit wonky or dead on, no chops in the barrel to worry about.

sounds logical to me

id say maby run something like a .698 and run whatever paint u want out of like a 11 or 12 inch barrel its paintball not airsoft its not supposed to be accurate!

Touch too big - i'd personally say 695 is big enough

Theory with fatty bores is because not all paint is the same size so matching 4-5 balls exact doesn't quiet make sense . Matching paint exact to a barrell will cause you toget spiked shots over the chrono where some balls roll through and some are real tight in the barrel - a fat bore doesnt resist paint at all meaning your consistancy over the chrono will be more consistant - on top of this having a big bore reduces the chances of barrel breaks -although some say fattybore can effect accuracy a touch but better out the gun and a tad off target but not at all

I have a full set of recent dye backs buddy .684.688.692.695 and I only ever use the .692 ive never needed a bigger bore and ive never used a smaller bore although my teammates use a .688 with the same paint but its a bit tight usually - if your only running one i highly recommend in the .692/3 area
