Just a quick note to say thanks to all involved in the game on sunday. from the organization to the opposition it was all excellent, (even the lavs weren't too bad considering 500+ sweaty paintballers using them all day)

Big mention to hatts for putting me in the QRF for the rogues, had a great days ballin with ten other lads who worked their nuts off all day and played brilliantly.

Must Grumble at the ultimate who mistook an orange flag for a white one in queens at 12 oclock!!!! mind you it was white on one side and orange on the other, so maybe i should be grumbling at the maker of the flag? (make it orange both sides next time please)

Anyway on a positive note the gunfight at the OK Coral was fantastic fun at the end, when Hatts decided we would annoy the greens as they looked like they would win it.

Highlight of the day, hanging the orange flag in the centre of manhatten just before 4pm!!!

Cheers again everyone involved

Yes, big ups to Hatts

We got a little demoralized after the (cough...dodgy....ahem) call about the flag, but he kept pushing us all day, and we had a helluva laugh.

Cheers to all concerned.

cant disagree with anything said so far. Myself and a fellow rogue got caught outside manhattan at the end in a sweet firefight involving the whites and greens. Never got to see the flag go in but I heard the celebrations. sweet

Highlight of the day for me, spending half an hour in a bush with binz, mmmmmmmm. We shot seven shades out of a group of punks, then some other gang. spent a few minutes hiding from the NYPD before wasting some more punks. We then got well pinned by a large number of Blues. Somehow managed to avoid being tagged and then watch as the warriors showed up and cleaned the area. All from the safety of a 6ft by 5ft patch of mud in a bush. nice

Spent the next twenty minutes powering down the path with the warriors and took queens. just missing the 3.00 cut off. Three rogues then had the task of holding queens for just under an hour.............we didn't do it.

exhultation to desperation to celebration then back to desperation before being put well and truly on our arse

Still all great fun

is it just me but I thought we lost manhattan after lunch hence the minus 400 pointer at 2

Regarding the Rogues defence of Manhattan after lunch...I think most of the defenders probably weren't aware with each being focused on the area to their front, but I was walking around and could see the battle from all 4 sides...at one stage we were being attacked by all 4 of the other gangs at once...whichever side I looked out of I could see a different colour armband...so well done to the guys for holding that flag...unfortunaely with so much attention on us it meant that the other "turfs" weren't so heavily defended allowing the warriors to take control...unfortunately for the Rogues they happened to pick Queens which was our target turf...hence the -500 points...interestingly the only team it happened to all day....

But all in all a good day and I must say it was real pleasure to play alongside everyone on the Rogues team. The attitude, friendliness and sheer sense of fun more than made up for any niggles and I'd be honored to play alongside any of those guys in any scenario game....I'm hoping to see a lot of you at Kenny's IV...The Empire Strikes Back... UKPSF game later this year.

It all makes sense now !!!!!

So we never actually lost our home base all day. Sweet

I was in manhattan at the time of the defense. I had to spawn three times because of all the players attacking. Couldn't get back in the third time cause the whites and greens ( I think) had both ways in covered well. Myself and a few epoch members got splatted. So I wasn't in manhattan on the hour

Big up to Hatts. I agree wholeheartedly. Not one guy in the rogues would you hear a bad word said about. I spent most of the day with the Manx Boys but whenever I did find myself amongst others I thoroughly enjoyed myself and couldn't find fault with anyones attitude.

Which reminds me, I wouldn't mind a copy of the team photo taken at the end of the day. Any ideas where copies can be gotten from

See you at star wars

No, I got shot at Brooklyn at 2 minutes past 12 and we were still holding the Warriors off...ironically if we'd have let them just waltz in and take the flag we would have been better off...the way the scoring system worked, it would have meant that whichever team was supposed to be attacking Brooklyn would in fact have been down -500 ;)

Just one more "big-up" that many may not be aware of...at the end of the day with 10 minutes to go I said to the last of the Brooklyn defenders..."anyone who wants to go out with a blast haul it down to Manhattan and shoot anything Green" :D...I figured that so close to the end nothing was going to happen as everyone was engaged in a pitched battle around the Wild West town.

I don't know the names of those who stayed in Brooklyn but basically we were left with 7 guys & girls armed with a mixture of Spyders and rental Tippmans...and me without a gun :D. With 5 minutes to go...the flipping Warriors turned up...and we held them...god knows how :D....but that potentially could have cost us another -500. So well done to the "merry few" who helped save our pride while the rest of the boys were kicking Bopper Butt :D
