I need your opinions on a choice of setup that I need to make pretty quickly. I'm buying a Impy that has no regulator and I have two choices to fix this problem I need to know what people think would be the best setup:

1. I have a preset 3000psi Nitro Duck system so I could get a Vertical Maxflow and a dropline. But someone wants to buy the Nitro Duck and I feel it's a bit bulky for me.

2. I have had an offer of a 3000psi AGD Flatline system that can "apparently" can have it's output set to 175psi. If so would I really need a secondary reg? would this be a better option or do you think a secondary reg is the safer option?

Where on the field do you play? will 3000 psi be enough for you?

I currently use a 1.5 4500 MAx flow into a gas thru grip, I'm tempted though to try a set up with a sidewinder inline reg as I've seen really impressive results with the sidewinder.

Just some food for thought.

Paul.

I play in the middle so capacity isn't the big issue here, but what your saying Paul is that your not using a secondary regulator just the adjustable one with your air source, and this setup is ok as long as your primary reg can do the job well and get that pressure down to 175 psi. I'm worried about spiking the solenoid as well.

Personally I wouldn't single reg with anything except a low pressure max flow!

Eh? I though you had a max-low?

Im sure the flatline system cant go below 200psi as it was designed for Mags (correct me if im wrong)
