Anyone who has tried to use a 50 shot hopper like the APP on will soon find that 50 shot pots hold too many paintballs, more like 60 which overfills the hopper and prevents proper feeding.
The solution comes from an unlikely source of 50 cal paintball:

The pots hold 100 50 cal paintballs or, more usefully 40 ish .68 ones, the pot lids were a tight fit at first but a bit of light sanding soon sorted it.
For just over £20 with postage for the pack and 5 pots I thought it was worth the risk to try it and its worked out really well, I strongly suggest anyone who wants to use a 50 shot hopper gives them a go.
