I have a smartparts 12" Teardrop barrel and would like some suggestions as to what paintballs would be best for this barrel. Accourding to an article on another site, my barrel is a medium bore .689. I have been useing pmi marbalizers and they have worked ok but depending on which site you are on, some say they are small bore, and some say medium. I was just wondering what is a good paint for a medium bore barrel. Price is not really an issue or I would not have been buying marbilizers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks

To be honest, it doesnt matter what paint you use or is recommended as there will always be a difference in size. No manufacturer can provide the same size ball every single time. Hence why Smart Parts (Freak) and Empire, to name a couple of many provide the set of different sizes to help overcome this.

I would suggest getting a couple of different bore size barrels or a Freak or equivalent to help.

Sorry, it probably wasnt what you wanted to hear!!!

Cheers

Although that is true, if you buy the same brand of paint everytime then you are going to have more consistency than if you were to buy several different brands. As i have used the Teardrop i have had the most accuracy with NitroDuck and Kick'N Paintballs

your air system has nothing to do with your paint to barrel match,.689 should be a decent size if you buy decent paint,if you want to/have to-buy cheap paint buy a bigger bore barrel ie .691,693:)
