Okay... I did a little search but found no direct comparison threads so i thought i'd post up for the most up to date opinion.

I'm a back player so...

What is the best pack for:

1. Ease of Use
2. Comfort
3. Style (Agg-ness)
4. Durability
5. Size
6. Number of pots
7. Price

I was looking primarily at NXe, DYE, Proto, and SP - If theres any one I'm forgetting then please tell me if you think that it is particularly awesome.

dye attack pack pro ftw
holds alot, comfortable , compresses when pod is taken out,really durable,maybe a tad exspensive but you can pick one up very cheap now,fits almost any size i think and looks the buisness .
highly recomend one,

NXe best there is imo, very comfortable, effective pod propulsion, they usually have two extra side loops as an added bonus, very tough, can take a ton of pots and there are loads going either second hand or i believe brand new from planeteclipse. not necessarily the most agg of packs but it has a certain symplistic style, and even if you dont like the looks it does the job and does it well.

alternatively, i hear Dye and Proto packs are very popular, and have added looks aswell ;) :cool:

NXe with out a doubt.

1. Ease of Use - Very easy to use, fits 100 up to dye lock lids. easy to reach all pods.

2. Comfort - Very comfy, great back support which extends round your hips. The extra adjusters make the fix perfect as well.

3. Style (Agg-ness) - Russian legion, joy division, digicamo and black. nuff said :cool:

4. Durability - I use an 05 one and its lasted ages, abit of fray from the velcro on the elastic and minor bobbles from washing but mint otherwise.

5. Size - very adjustable, im a 32 and it can go smaller and will go much larger,

6. Number of pots - 4+3+2, will you ever need more than that? With a 3+2+2 for a front man or for lower profile.

7. Price - £40 for the 07 ones but will last you years. got my 05 last spring/summer for £15 and has loads of life left.

Try one on at an event and you will love it!​
