With my Halo I have had trouble with double feeding so you gotta make sure your ball detents are strong (get them out, stretch the spring, put them back)

also get a four battery pack to replace the 6. They are 49p from Maplins.

You really need the eyes on the halo IMO the reloader might break balls theoretically. but I tried a reloader for a day and it worked fine.

whatever floats ya boat

also the reloader uses much fewer batteries as is sound activated yer.
but you must calibrate it in quiet and without paint in at start of day, and leave it on: or else it wont work.

yeah, reloader lasts longer with less batteries, and the calibration is easy - just turn it on before the game, and make sure that you won't shoot for 5 secs or so and then you're ready to rumble! Personally i turn my realoader at the captains meeting [ usually a hour or a bit later starts the first game ] so no probs... and i don't have to worry about turning it off after every round - i turn it off after the end of all the games and it never failed me.

I would say go with the reloader the sound activation seems to be much better than the the halo b system. Very happy with fine and feeds my shocker very quickly. When I upgrade to a ego or karnie I will be using a reloader again.

Hoppers

If your using good quality paint to start with that can make a hell of a difference, halo's can crush the stack in the feed-neck ...reloaders tend to be a little more gentle as they function on sound, like rosie has said there are a couple of things you can do to a halo B to tweak it ...reloaders from what i've heard & seen can work straight out of the box....

now to throw the cat amongst the pigeons here...

If they made eggs as strong as halo's shell wise .....with the fastest board ...& a lower profile I'd be realy tempted...
