Best High end markers?

Hey Guys, i was thinking of putting money aside for a high end marker.

The story goes that my cocker loves to have tantrums and tbh im getting a lil pissed off that i spent most of my time at the chrono rather than at the field training like i should be!

so my question is this, in order for me to spend the absolute least time at the chrono tinkering with my marker, i need a gat that requires very little maintenance apart from the norm, lubing and such the like. It must be easy to adjust and user friendly. Also im going high end so it will keep up wih the gats out there today. So im kinda thinking along the lines of ego/dm5/dmc/speeds or whatever.

So what would you guys say was the best marker that meets the requirements of "less gay - more play"

Thanks for your time,

Paul

The most hassle free marker i've ever owned was my impulse, but these days they are a little heavy although there are some really nice private lable ones going for cheap nowadays....

Failing that its the ego every time, easy to strip, clean and maintain, there are hundereds of them out there so parts are easy to get hold of , nicky t and the crew at eclipse are always on the end of the phone for techy advise and well priced spares and failing that they even have tutorials on thier site for all the basic maintainance....£400 will find you a second hand standard ego no probs.

Yeah...Robbo's Ego is legendary, im sure his Id and SuperEgo have a hard time!

Since I have recently acquired an XSV Ego..I was amazed at its simplicity, yet how well it performs...also had, until recently a DM4...which was a little iffy in teh cold, but I'm sure would shoot balls made of wafer thin glass, if I had some.
Ihave since sold my DM4, so...thats an idea as to where my loyalty is located.

I've owned an AKA Viking for a while now and all I
have to do to keep in in top nik is a couple of drops of lube in the asa,
dry fire a few times (without the barrel on) and your ready to play all day.
It's never let me down and has no problems keeping up with the likes of egos, dm's and angels.
You'll find that they're cheaper than the ego and dm too;)

Thats my 2p, all the best,

slightly off topic but still close, Angels not getting a mention here at all.

seems to me WDP have fallen from grace somewhat, and the top runners appear to be Egos and Dm series.
