Think your going to get alot of people saying Ego mate, nexus ones look sweet or a DM6 both fill your tick list. Personaly i say Evil Omen, have no trouble with mine

your better off saying your style of play ...how you play posistion etc .... Right dependant on budget you can get some seriouly good markers for a few hundred pounds that were not far off £700/800 a few months ago..

For £500 you are going to get a nice upped DM5 or Ego 05, both play remarkably well. I own 2 05 Ego's but am getting a DM6 in the next few months to see how I get on with it.
you can get a 05 ego full set up for £500 these days (air and hopper thrown in) lotta gun for the money.

Has to be Ego or DM4/5...teh DM has more o-rings to keep an eye on and they dont like the cold too much, but they will shoot anything you like, paint wise, bit heavier than an Ego.
Ego, has less bits to go wrong..possibly a bit harder on paint than a DM, but is lighter, just as fast etc.
