Ok OK,...... How many of you chirpy little chappies who made the trip across the water, thought that the "open" was a first class tourny

Well, we took a trophy home, so I can't complain.....
Some of the bunkers could have done with a little less water though, and the Sup'air field could have used some mowing, sometimes the marshalling could have used some better organisation (not as in get better marshalls, but as in HAVE marshalls, it seemed to go wrong at some point), or am I being picky? :D

I had a good time, despite all of the above, and it was good to meet you guys face to face.

OH MY GOD

Hi guys, well what can I say, I don't mean to offend anyone but that has got to be the worst tournament I have ever been to. The fields were so bad. If I had not travelled so far I would have just gone home, like several other teams. The fields were unsafe, a mess and the marshals seemed to have no idea who was playing, the rules were different in each game and so on, sorry guys but you realy need to pull your finger out of your arse before putting on another event which I won't goto anyway.

Respect to all the teams who managed to last the day.......

I was playing with 'Old & Famous' (AKA Fat & Ugly :D ), we were on the same line of tables you were on, but on the other end (hiding behind the jaguars....).

What haybales are you guys talking about? All I saw were some mulchy, vermin infested, smelly, don't-wanna-go-anywhere-near-it-much-less-hug-it-for-cover haybale lookalikes. What was with the waterfilled crater in the middle of the field anyway?

As for the marshalls, when we had to play our first game on the haybale field, they simply were not there. Consequently, the teams that had to play the game before ours were still waiting to start theirs, so we offered to marshall them and they offered to marshall us in return.

What worried me most was the risk of ankle injury, because the ground was so non-flat.

But I have to say, I still had fun. But that's probably because I play with a bunch of loonies (like myself), and anytime I get to fire my marker I enjoy myself anyway (My wife says that if I ever shoot her again, she'll file for divorce.....:p )

But heyho......there's gonna be a leg of the millennium in Holland coming season......can you say: OhmygodI'msoexcitedIthinkI'mgonnacum.....?
See you guys there......

you all went for the wrong reasons, you do not go just for the paintball,80% of the trip is to go Antewp have a meal go to the red light district sample the delights bearing in mind you do not have to purchase any goods then move on to Zillons which is without a doubt one of the best clubs i have been to and i have done the rounds across the globe,

as you are all slagging this event of,why did you go then ?

and the cost i would have thought it would have cost around 200
just for the plesure of playing and the ferry and a couple of shandys

english events are not so bad now are they ?

if we did'nt have steve bull and clive & alex we would have no torney scene in the uk.

ask your self why belgium has only got 1 good team

yeah well now you know why !!

belgium

well some people actually take there paintball seriously, going abroad to play is fun and Antwerp used to be a pretty cool place, but zillion's is shut, if you feel the erge to pay for women like our northern friend you would have been disapointed.

Like I said before out of all the countries I have been to and played I think these guys realy let paintball down, they know the standard paintballers expect and even with steve bulls help with rosters and things they still managed to screw it up.

Belgian League

Thanks to the UK teams for coming over to the Belgian League.

I think you guys came over with the wrong idea, it's the Belgian LEAGUE, not a high standard OPEN tournament. Nobody ever said it would be a high level tournament.

About marshalling, it was self seeding, that's means that you get the same level of marshalling as you get in playing. You marshalled too.

The tournaments and the tournament play in the UK is a much higher level than here in Belgium.

About the field safety, I agree on that one, it could have been better. The Sup'Air field was excellent, made for attacking play.

What I also notice that none of the commentors went home with a prize in their hands. Maybe that's why you are so disappointed?

This is the level Endurance practices against during winter, to get ready for the Millennium. Third place overall, thank you very much.

Thanks to Iron Wolf and team Redz for the good games. But the first prize trophy still is in the hands of Belgian team Endurance...

Ans extra thanks to Iron Wolf for not putting this whole day of as nothing worth coming over for, you guys are real Pros!
