Beginner speedball gun

Hi all,

I have been paintballing at walkons and diamond wars for almost a year now with my tippmann x7 phenom and i feel that i also want to get involved in tournament paintball starting with practicing at an a ball arena, i had an slg for a short period of time but it really didn't suit me and didn't shoot how i wanted so now i'm looking for another gun.

It needs to be reliable and fit for a tournament, (right modes etc)

I was thinking of buying an invert mini or a PE etha. Does anyone else have any other suggestions or would one of these be your choice?

Depends on your budget mate, all the suggested markers are good choices... A mini would be your cheapest option, around the £120/ £150 mark, great little markers and simple to maintain... A etek 3 or etha will cost you a little bit more, around the £200/ £250 mark but are very good markers and if you are planning on playing tournaments there will no doubt be a pe tech who will gladly help you out...

yep, looking to spend between 150-200 pounds, i already have an air system and a rotor so thats all good, i liked the etha due to the fact you could add the body kit as well so you can convert it between game types, my mate also has a mini so we might be able to advise each other if we both had one.

As much as i'd like an etek it's a little out of my price range, after shooting my mates mini today it has persuaded me so i think that will be my final choice.

One more question, what thread is the invert as i've got an autococker nightstick already?

it an autococker thread bud so the nightstick can be used with it :D
