Beginner Markers

my mate is getting in to paintball and want to move to walkons and speedball.
now i brought my marker a while ago and have no idea what is good for a beginner any help.

What budget is he looking at??

An Etha would be a good start for a newbie as it will work regardless of the lack of TLC it gets.
