As far away from you as possible
Ok here is the deal, me and my woodsball team who arn't noobs btw want to venture into torny ball to at least try it, now we have a date set to go to our local and try it out and we all have some good kit.
The only problem is we don't want to get owned straight off so is there any started tornements or anything similar?
The thing is im worried if there isn't we will get totally owned, and if there is we will look like a load of experienced ballers because of the state of our kit.
For e.g. one team mate is getting a pro master I have an angel it's not exactly starter gear.
So could you kindly give me some advice on what to do and details on some starter torniments.

Beer speaks the truth,Koth is a fantastic way to try sup air tournies against teams such as yourselves without getting owned ,you also get to see the next levels as its run at the same time as the masters events so you can see some of the best teams around inbetween your games.:)

Good luck and hope to see you there soon:cool:

visit www.uk-masters.co.uk they run a koth (king of the hill) event alongside the 5 man masters. The next round at lincoln near the end of june. The Team i am captain of started in koth last year and are now playing in div c.

I think entry into koth per round is £175, but to confirm your booking a £50 deposit is required. This can either be taken off your entry fee on the day leaving you £125 to pay or left as a rolling deposit which confirms you for each event.

Pm wendyism on this forum for more info as I know they have 5 proto matrix's that they loan out on the day so you can experience torney ball before spening too much money.

Koth is a limited paint torney and as such each player is allowed a hopper of paint and then 3 pots between the 5 players. Ie. 2 of the players will just have their hopper full.

Ni ban last year in koth shot on average between 4-5 cases per day in koth. Paint can be obtained from many of the trade stands on the day at around £25 + per case.

Most events start at 8:30 am and captains meeting is at 8:00 am where the rules will be explained.

Most of all have fun and enjoy yourself. All the players at the event are willing to help new players and teams.

Good luck and see you soon at the masters.
