Beech Landing

Just to let you all know - for the last few days we have been building a Beech landing with landing craft and machean gun posts and crosses at Point blank.

We still have more work to do on it but should be done in the next week or so.

There are 3 landing craft and the idear is two way -

First you can either assult or defend the flag --

Assult - the idear is to get to the flag wich is protected by the opposing team - You start from the landing craft and then run up to the crosses. Then make your way to the barriers were you be faced with a Bunker and sevral machean gun post's wich are sand bagged . if you get past them there will a few more to pass then grab the flag or save pri Ryan lol ...

Deffend - the idear is to defnd the oppsoning team from getting to you flag. You have sevral bunkers and machean gun posts wich are well dug in. there is a nice big mound wich the oppseing team have to go over before they can get any were near you and makes it hard work. you might even be lucky enough and take out the opposing team as they leave there landing craft ...

I've been waiting for someone to do a scenario or a game field along the lines of a beach invasion a la D-Day '44, but then not everyone has a Pball site on the coast...

Piont blank is inland near Darlington, co Durham - we r bulding it on land but its still quite good we built some more barracades out of sand bags today and just finished off one of the bunkers yesterday .. got some photos of what we have done so far .. Will up them tonight or tomorrow . There is still a week or so worth of work to do -

will post pics of what we have acived so far and then when its complete ill take some photos of the first few games on it.

gotta say this sounds pretty damn good to me, you likely to hold any walk on days on it? nice to see someone moving back or keeping up with paintball's "wargames" traditions

actualy got some pics but yet its still a little unfinised --

There is alot more than that done now but will up pictures of the game when complete as well as in mid game shots --- might even do a small vid of it lol ...

I dont know about walk on even - But when the whole beach landing is finished ill talk to dave and wendeny may be they might do a day to open beach landing or some thing but i will find out for you.

Oky its finished and well i marshalled it the other day ... cool to watch and funny as hell there isnt many attacking teams that are going to win this game. The defending team has the best defence and it going to be a fight all the way for the attacking team. wich was the idear of the game in the fist place ..

Every one who played it said it was the best game there .

what about making those baricades which was ment to stop tanks on the beach? that would help with allieds defence! but not to many and make them spaced out!
