I always found that i could play a tourny, then a practice the next week. the batterys would then be changed for the next tourny.
Never tried to run them dry. would play about 8 full games, then the practice day. and shift a lot of paint as im a back guy!
Hope that helps.....

I have heard that rechargable batterys hold their power longer.

just to add my 2 cents. i heard that rechargeable batteries arent much good for a revvy. something to do with the fact that rechargeable have a slightly different voltage to their non-rechargeable brothers (i know that a aa rechargeable is 1.2 volts and a aa duracell is 1.5v for example);
if i can get away with rechargeables then let me know cos it would work out loads cheaper.
cheers

not 100% but rechargables should be ok coz even tho they give a slightly lover voltage it shouldnt matter as a revvi is regulated from the 18v input of the 2 x 9v batterys down to 12v anyway and rechargables aint gonna be that low voltage so im guessing that the 12v the hopper needs will be more than covered still

i have the 12v rev w/ xboard and the reloader

ehh in my opinion, the rev is better.. i have an easier time outshooting the reloader than i do with the rev

also the paddles on the reloader are a lot smaller than the rev

20000 shots? i think not :p more like 2000 shots

batteries cost too much unless you live in manhattan and can find the peddler who sells any kind of batteries in 2 packs for $1 or 1 9v for $1 :p

i recently invested some cash into buying 3 2 battery chargers and 6 rechargeable 9v batteries. works well for me :p
